JAMMU, AUG 26: Kavinder Gupta, senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and former Deputy Chief Minister has asserted that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream of Congress Mukt Bharat is going to be fulfilled soon which is evident from the latest development of Ghulam Nabi Azad’s resignation from all the organizational posts as well as the primary membership of Congress party.
In a statement issued to media here today, Kavinder Gupta said that after most of the senior Congress leaders including Jyotiraditya Scindia, RPN Singh, Kapil Sibal, Anand Sharma and Jitin Prasad leaving Congress, Ghulam Nabi Azad’s resignation comes as the last nail in the party’s coffin. He said that the aforesaid developments do not spring surprise as Congress believes and promotes only dynasty politics leaving no scope at all for a democratic set up to flourish within the party.
The former Deputy Chief Minister said that this is evidenced by the fact that Sonia Gandhi and the coterie of sycophants least bothered to pay heed to the demand of restructuring the party set up democratically by holding party’s internal elections. The voice for change in Congress was last raised by the G-20 group of which Ghulam Nabi Azad was also a part, but those at the helm of affairs in the vanishing party are hell bent upon paving the way for doom of the already decimated party.
The former Dy Chief Minister said that Congress stands exposed before the people of this nation for its dynastic politics. He said that the only aim of Congress Party is to ensure sustainable dynastic power within the party. He emphasized that people as well as the left Congress cadre know quite well that Rahul Gandhi is absolutely immature and Sonia Gandhi is thrusting the responsibility on him not realizing that grooming him is mere wastage of time. Moreover, her conduct clearly reflects that she is least bothered about the party but she’s only trying to promote her son who has been aptly nicknamed as ‘Pappu’.
The senior party leader asserted that all these developments within the Congress party are very soon going to culminate in a ‘Congress Mukt Bharat’ as the party has already pursued anti-people policies including the minority appeasement policy for seven decades.
