Korea, Oct 29 : Excitement is surging among fans of both Indian and Korean cinema as South Korean action star Don Lee (Ma Dong-seok) is reportedly set to make his grand entry into Indian cinema alongside Prabhas in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s upcoming film Spirit.
According to leading Korean media outlet Muko Korea, Don Lee has officially signed on for the high octane thriller, where he will play the main antagonist opposite Prabhas. The film marks one of the most ambitious Indo-Korean collaborations in recent years, blending Bollywood-style action with Korean cinematic intensity.
Don Lee, best known for his powerhouse performances in ‘Train to Busan’ and ‘The Outlaws’, will take on a rugged villainous role in this dark detective crime drama. Fans are eagerly anticipating the on screen showdown between the two global action icons.
While release details in Korea remain under wraps, hints of a Korean language version on the film’s poster have fueled speculation that Spirit may release simultaneously in both India and South Korea.
Adding to the buzz, Don Lee recently shared a social media post praising Prabhas’s ‘Salaar 2’, leading fans to connect the dots about his upcoming collaboration.
Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, known for Animal and Arjun Reddy, Spirit is reportedly being produced on a massive Rs 300-crore budget.
