Mumbai, Feb 18 : Actress Pravina Deshpande passed away on 17 February 2026 in Mumbai at the age of 60 after a prolonged battle with multiple myeloma, a form of white blood cell cancer. The news of her demise was shared by her family through her official Instagram account, leaving fans and colleagues in shock.
Deshpande had been undergoing treatment since 2019 and had chosen to fight the illness largely away from public attention. Despite her health struggles, she remained connected to her profession and continued to take on selective projects. She was cremated the same day in Andheri, Mumbai, and is survived by her husband and two children.

Her most recent on-screen appearance was a cameo in the Netflix series Taskaree, where she shared screen space with Emraan Hashmi.
