PRI representatives inaugurate around 2 dozen projects across Doda district

DODA, APRIL 22:  As part of   month-long Gram Swaraj campaign and celebration of Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav, District Development Council Councillors and BDC Chairpersons today inaugurated scores of newly completed projects across different Panchayats and Blocks of district Doda.

As per Rural Development Department, around two dozen projects were inaugurated by DDC Councillors and BDC Chairpersons in different parts of the mountainous district.

 Block Development Council Chairman Bhagwah Joginder Singh inaugurated a link road from Main Road to Langote in panchayat Ganika in presence of Assistant Commissioner Development Phulail Singh Bandral.

The ACD reiterated that the creation of public infrastructure and providing facilities to the people at their door steps is the first priority of the district administration. He also said that PRI members can also take initiatives to provide health care, education, and other facilities to the people in their respective areas.

Several other inaugurations were held throughout the district including at Block Changa, where BDC chairman inaugurated Additional Classrooms in Government Primary School Latagori in presence of BDO Changa Asif Ameen.

Meanwhile 20 other such projects were inaugurated by DDC Councillors and BDC Chairpersons in the whole district.
