‘Psych Siddhartha’: Varun Reddy’s New Year Release Offers ₹99 Tickets

Makers say affordable pricing aims to bring audiences back to theatres and boost small-budget films.

Mumbai, Dec 31 : The makers of director Varun Reddy’s upcoming youthful entertainer Psych Siddhartha, starring Shree Nandu and Yaamini Bhaskar in the lead roles, have announced that the film will be screened with tickets priced at ₹99.

The decision, announced by Suresh Babu’s production house, which is presenting the film, comes amid concerns over declining theatre footfalls, particularly for small-budget films. The producers said the move is aimed at making cinema more accessible and encouraging audiences to return to theatres.

Speaking about the initiative, the producer cited recent examples such as Raju Weds Rambai and Little Hearts, noting that small films in other languages have found success with audiences. “If the film is good, audiences will definitely watch it. Keeping that in mind, we have fixed the ticket price at just ₹99,” the producer said.

The film features cinematography by Prakash Reddy and music composed by Smaran Sai.
