15-05-2023 : The Sangrur district court in Punjab summoned Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge in a 100 crore Rupees defamation case filed by Hitesh Bhardwaj, the founder of Hindu Suraksha Parishad, for allegedly making defamatory remarks against Bajrang Dal during the recently concluded Karnataka Assembly elections.
The Congress in its manifesto compared Bajrang Dal with “anti-national organizations.
