R K Kalsotra discusses FRA, DISHA, and community upliftmentDirector for community upliftment

New J&K Tribal Affairs Director Gh Rasool assures transformative initiatives for tribal welfare, emphasizing effective implementation of FRA, DISHA, and youth empowerment schemes across the UT.

Jammu:Feb,4 2025: State President All India Confederation of SC/ST/OBC Organisation J&K R K Kalsorta along with senior member Confederation RETD Special Secretary R C Uttama met newly posted Director Tribal Affairs Department JK Jnb Gh Rasool(JKAS)who took over as Directed recently.

The State President. Confederation welcomed him and congratulated him on his posting as Director Tribal. Moreover R K Kalsorta told about the schemes and programmes run under Tribal Affairs Department and hoped that new Director will fulfill all the demands coming under the schemes for Tribals in JK UT and will bring about a great change in and among the tribals of JK UT thus making his tenure be written in Golden Words and told that by virtue of this people must remember the role and contribution of the new Tribal Director for ever .They discussed about many schemes and provisions meant for tribals like  FRA, Dharti Aba,DISHA, and other youth related scheme and ensured full co-operation and support from confederations throughout the UT and also told that there are Distt units at Distt  level who are also striving to meet people’s expectations and shall extend full co-operation too with the department and their services can also be utilised any time at any level by the department for fulfilment required goals  which was in turn appreciated and welcomed by the director tribal.
The meeting was not only a formal Welcome session but was a gesture of good and congenial co-ordination and supporting one .
New director tribal Gh Rasool also ensured that during his tenure the tribal affairs department will be a Game-Changing one and will surely benefit and uplift tribals who are striving for want of basic necessities in remote areas of the JK UT.  Meeting ended in good gesture of fostering the upliftment of Tribals.
