Rahul Gandhi is the only hope for poor, unemployed youth & farmers: Tony

SUCHETGARH, Sep 5: Rahul Gandhi is the only ray of hope for poor, unemployed youth and farmers of the country.

This was stated by Taranjit Singh Tony, a Congress leader and DDC Member of Suchetgarh after inaugurating the newly reconstructed bridge in village Blah, falling under the Maggowali Panchayat in Suchetgarh.

Notably, this bridge had recently been washed away in the flash floods which was a vital bridge connecting 40 odd villages on each side. However, owing to the relentless efforts of Taranjit Singh Tony, the bridge was swiftly reconstructed, ensuring connectivity for the local residents in record time.

Addressing the gathering, Taranjit Singh Tony said that the Saffron Party had failed miserably in addressing the problems being faced by the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He emphasized that the absence of a popular government had led to a manifold increase in the problems faced by the people.

Highlighting Rahul Gandhi as the beacon of hope for the downtrodden, poor, middle-class citizens, farmers, and the unemployed youth of Jammu and Kashmir, Tony asserted that only Rahul Gandhi possessed the vision and capability to alleviate the pressing issues such as soaring inflation, high-end and faulty GST, and rampant unemployment. He accused the BJP of prioritizing the interests of corporate giants like Ambanis and Aadanis, stating that slogans like “Mehangai ki Maar” and promises of eradicating corruption and generating employment for two jobs every year had fallen flat.

He said now the world has again highlighted the Hawala transactions of Adanis and the whole Modi government is trying to save Mr Aadani and the reason is best known to them. By acting not against Adanis, the image of the whole country is being tarnished by the International Media, he added.

Tony urged the people to rally behind Rahul Gandhi and the Congress Party, asserting that they are the only ones capable of fulfilling the aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He emphasized that it was time to strengthen the hands of Rahul Gandhi to pave the way for a brighter and more prosperous future.

Among those who were present include Sarpanch Manjeet Kour, Rashpal Singh Gill, Satvinder Singh and Meeta Lambardar.
