NEW DELHI, Apr 28: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday held a significant bilateral meeting with his Chinese counterpart Dong Jun on the sidelines of a multilateral conclave in Bishkek, where both sides are learnt to have reviewed the prevailing situation along the Line of Actual Control.
The interaction took place during the Defence Ministers’ gathering of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, a key regional forum focusing on security cooperation and strategic dialogue among member states.
In a brief statement shared on social media, Singh described the engagement as constructive, noting that it was “a pleasure” to interact with the Chinese defence minister during the meeting.
