Mumbai: Drama queen Rakhi Sawant, who had been residing in Dubai, returned to India on Tuesday to shoot for the popular show Pati Patni Aur Panga. Spotted on the sets in Mumbai, Rakhi looked almost unrecognisable in a slimmer avatar, donning a black shimmer saree paired with curly hair, leaving fans amazed at her transformation.
She posed for the paparazzi and engaged with the media, sharing her excitement about returning to India. “Shaadi ka mahaul hai toh main khush hoon. Ye channel ne mujhe bahot support kiya hai aur aaj Rakhi Sawant joh kuch bhi hai usmein channel ka bahot bada haanth hai, Bigg Boss and all mein aapne mujhe dekha hai,” she said, expressing gratitude to the channel for supporting her journey.
Rakhi also spoke about her long absence from India and her time in Dubai. “Kaafi time baad main India aayi, aur mujhe kaafi acha laga. Aur hum match bhi jeet gaye. I love India, joh pyaar izzat mujhe India mein milta, woh kahin nahi milta. But I’m glad main ab Dubai mein rehti hoon, kyunki ab Main wahan ki citizen ban gayi hoon. Golden visa mujhe mil gaya hai aur main citizen ban gayi hoon,” she added.
On the topic of Bigg Boss 19 and Tanya Mittal, Rakhi confidently remarked, “Dekhiye Bigg Boss ke toh sabhi fan hai. Aur agar mujhe Bigg Boss bulate hain, Salman bhai toh dekho main Tanya se bhi zyaada khubsurat lagti hoon. Woh joh bolti hai mera ye hai mera woh hai, Main toh khud Dubai se aayi hoon.. Main ne toh pura Bhurj Khalifa kharid liya hai.”
