Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust prepares for a historic celebration marking the traditional wedding day of Lord Ram

Ayodhya, Nov 15 : Ayodhya is gearing up for one of its most significant spiritual celebrations as the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust announced that the Ram Temple flag hoisting ceremony will take place on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, coinciding with the traditional sacred day of Lord Ram’s wedding.

Trust General Secretary Champat Rai confirmed the details and highlighted the immense cultural and religious importance of the occasion.
“Tuesday, November 25, 2025, marks the sacred day of Lord Ram’s wedding in Ayodhya. On this day, the flag hoisting will take place on the shikhara of the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. The event will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he said.

He added that the administration is fully prepared to handle the massive influx of devotees expected to arrive for the ceremony.
“The VIPs, including the Prime Minister, are likely to depart around 2 PM. We are ensuring that the arrangements do not cause inconvenience to the public. This is part of our logistical and ceremonial preparations,” Rai noted.

Temple officials said that this year’s festivities will be more elaborate than ever. All subsidiary temples dedicated to Lord Mahadev, Lord Ganesh, Lord Hanuman, Suryadev, Maa Bhagwati, Maa Annapurna, and Sheshavatar will be decorated extensively along with the main Ram Temple. Preparations have been underway for weeks to create a visually grand and spiritually uplifting atmosphere.

The rituals will be performed by 108 Acharyas from Ayodhya, Kashi, and South India, under the guidance of renowned Kashi scholar Ganeshwar Shastri. A saffron flag featuring the Sun symbol, representing divine radiance, virtue, and eternal energy, will be hoisted atop the temple shikhara.

Earlier, Nripendra Mishra, Chairman of the Ram Temple Construction Committee, briefed reporters on the ongoing arrangements.
“Preparations are focused on the Prime Minister’s programme. We are ensuring proper arrangements for his visit so he can review the construction progress. The plan will be finalised based on the PMO’s suggestions,” he said.

Mishra added that major construction work is nearing completion. “Most of the work is done. The focus now is on beautification, including plantations. The main structure and six subsidiary shrines are complete,” he said.

On the technical front, Defence Ministry experts are overseeing the flag-hoisting setup to ensure flawless execution.
“We want the flag to be hoisted atop the main spire. Technical requirements are being examined to ensure the ceremony goes smoothly,” Mishra noted.
