JAMMU, APRIL 28: Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana, today met multiple public delegations at the Civil Secretariat, listening closely to their concerns related to development and community welfare.
During the meeting, representatives from various areas raised pressing issues, particularly emphasizing the need to upgrade road infrastructure, improve water availability and strengthen essential public services.
The delegations highlighted that rural and underserved regions require focused attention, citing their unique challenges they face in accessing basic facilities.
The Minister gave a patient and attentive hearing to all submissions, acknowledging the proactive role played by the delegations in voicing the concerns of their communities.
He assured them that all genuine demands would be carefully examined and addressed in a phased, time-bound manner.
Reaffirming the government’s commitment, Rana reiterated that the administration led by Omar Abdullah remains focused on responsive governance, prioritizing timely resolution of public issues and ensuring balanced, sustainable development across regions and sub-regions in Jammu and Kashmir.
