Ranbir, Alia, Vicky Reunite for Bhansali’s Love And War, Scheduled for 2027 Release

Cinematic extravaganza postponed as filming and VFX demand meticulous attention early 2027 release eyed.

Mumbai, Jan 20 : The much awaited Sanjay Leela Bhansali spectacle, Love And War, featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal, has been officially postponed to 2027, leaving fans to adjust their calendars. Originally slated for a 2026 release, the film now aims for an early 2027 premiere, possibly around Republic Day or Valentine’s Day.

Insiders reveal that a significant portion of the shoot is still underway. Despite the A-list cast, principal photography is scheduled to conclude only by June 2026. True to Bhansali’s signature style, the production is packed with elaborate aerial sequences, grandiose sets, and visually stunning scenes that demand painstaking attention.

Post-production is equally ambitious. The film’s VFX heavy sequences, from breathtaking action shots to complex aerial choreography, require months of careful crafting. With Bhansali personally overseeing every frame, rushing the post production process is out of the question, solidifying the 2027 release timeline.

Strategically, the delay also avoids a clash with Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana: Part One, releasing in November 2026. Spacing out these blockbusters ensures each film gets the promotional and audience spotlight it deserves.

Fans can now look forward to Love And War in 2027, promising the grandeur, emotional depth, and cinematic opulence that Bhansali is renowned for.
