New Delhi, Jan 17: Rashtrapati Bhavan (Circuit 1) will remain closed for public visits from January 21 to 29, 2026, in preparation for the Republic Day Parade and the Beating Retreat ceremony, the President’s Secretariat announced on Saturday.
Circuit 1, which takes visitors on a tour of the main Rashtrapati Bhavan building, will not be operational during this period. The closure ensures smooth arrangements for the Republic Day festivities, with the parade held annually on Kartavya Path. The Beating Retreat ceremony, marking the official conclusion of Republic Day celebrations, is scheduled for January 29 at Vijay Chowk, near the western end of Kartavya Path and the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The Secretariat urged visitors to plan accordingly and noted that regular public access will resume after January 29.
