JAMMU, 04-04-2023: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta on Tuesday came down heavily against those who have issued threats to the RSS leaders in Valley and said that ultras can’t cow them down using such tactics.
The BJP senior functionary said this while chairing a meeting of All Morcha Presidents here.
Munish Sharma, All Morcha In-charge; Ranjod Singh Nalwa President Minority Morcha; Sunil Prajapati President OBC Morcha; Neelam Langeh President SC Morcha; Arun Parbhat President Yuva Morcha; Rajinder Singh Raju and Tilak Raj Gupta were also present in the meeting.
The former Deputy Chief Minister slammed the terror outfit The Resistance Front (TRF) considered a front for Pakistan-based terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba for threatening nearly 30 RSS leaders active in the Valley. He said that the RSS leaders are true nationalists and shall continue to work for the country without any fear of their lives.
Kavinder said that the new way of issuing threats to bully the people working for the national interest cannot deter them from working for the national cause as nothing can lower their morale. He made it clear that RSS’ Muslim League Manch, is working for uniting the communities and no power in the Valley or elsewhere can deter it from doing good work in the interest of the people of the country.
The senior BJP leader said that presently many members of the Muslim brethren fraternity are joining the Muslim Rashtriya Manch and that is the reason behind the restlessness shown by those promoting separatism and terrorism in the region. He said that threats to RSS leadership in Valley are only due to this apprehension that RSS will foster brotherhood among different communities and hence this TRF is indulging in bravado and bullying of this sort. He made it clear that the nefarious designs of the terrorists won’t work anymore as the security forces in J&K are morally upbeat and ready to devastate all their plans one after another.
Later, Kavinder appealed to the party cadre especially the Morcha constituents to work in tandem to ensure block-wise in ensuing electoral contests and ensure that people have the knowledge about the policies and plans of BJP envisaged for the welfare of people and also about the good work accomplished in the last nine years.
