Jammu, Oct 25: The Sainik Samaj Party, led by Chief Convenor and President Col SS Pathania (Retd.), has officially announced the candidacies of Varun Jamwal for Ward 24 and Tarun Sharma for Ward 18 in the upcoming Jammu Municipal Corporation elections. Tarun Sharma will also serve as a reserve candidate for Ward 17.
Col Pathania highlighted the overwhelming support, encouragement, and love received by party candidates in previous assembly elections in the Jammu East and West constituencies. He emphasized that both Jamwal and Sharma bring a strong connection to grassroots issues, rooted in humble backgrounds that provide them with insight and commitment to addressing the needs of their communities.
With the addition of these two candidates, the party now has six candidates in the race and aims to field a total of 75 candidates across Jammu. Pathania encouraged young men and women to consider running under the Sainik Samaj Party’s platform, promoting a vision of alternative and constructive politics aimed at effectively serving the Union Territory and its people.
