Jammu, 18-09-2024: Col SS Pathania, Chief Convenor and President of the Sainik Samaj Party (SSP), JKUT, voiced his deep concerns over the current political scenario in Jammu and Kashmir, urging voters to reject dynasty politicians and anti-national parties. He emphasized the damaging impact of dynasty politics on the democratic fabric of the country, asserting that it has stifled national progress and development.
As the three-phase elections in JKUT conclude on October 1, with results to be declared on October 8, Pathania highlighted the pre-poll alliance between the National Conference (NC) and Congress, with the PDP waiting as a potential ally if required. He criticized these parties, calling them the embodiment of dynastic rule, which has long proven detrimental to the region and the nation. Pathania warned that NC’s pledge to restore Article 370 and 35A, a move silently supported by Congress and PDP, could lead to serious constitutional challenges and unrest, not only in Jammu and Kashmir but across the country.
He appealed to the voters of the Jammu region to make an informed choice, urging them to reject the divisive, appeasement-driven, and anti-national politics that has plagued the region for years. Pathania stressed that this election is an opportunity to break away from the clutches of dynastic rule and choose a path that prioritizes the nation’s integrity and people’s welfare.
