Presides over a meeting with administrative officers

Srinagar, 31 Oct: Provincial President of YNC, Kashmir and MLA Hazratbal Salman Sagar Thursday presided over a meeting with senior administrative officers at the Banquet Hall in Srinagar.

During the meeting, he stressed the immediate need to tackle pressing public issues such as water scarcity, electricity supply, road infrastructure, and timely ration distribution to consumers.
Salman Sagar urged the officers to prioritize resolving these issues to guarantee that residents receive sufficient services and enhancements in these vital sectors, particularly with the approaching winter season in mind.

He emphasised that the government is fully aware of the challenges faced by individuals from various walks of life and is dedicated to working tirelessly to address them.

He highlighted that the Omar Abdullah-led government is in tune with the aspirations of the public and is committed to actively representing their interests.

However, Sagar also pointed out the potential hindrance of having multiple power centers, which could impede the efficiency of the elected government.

He stressed the importance of granting the elected govt full authority over administrative areas to facilitate quick and effective decision-making. Salman emphasised that restoring statehood is crucial for the progress and development of Jammu and Kashmir.

He asserted that the government is committed to addressing the concerns of the people and working towards a brighter future for the region. He urged for unity and streamlined governance to ensure that the needs of the public are met effectively and efficiently.
