Jammu, 30.12.22: RK Kalsotra, Ramesh Sarmal, B L Bhardwaj, State President, Vice President & General Secretary respectively of All India Confederation of SC/ST/OBC Organisations J&K apprised the media via a press conference that the Confederation along with Dalit OBC Minorities and NSYF will be celebrating Bahujan Unity on 1st January 2023, 11 AM onwards at All J&K Mahasha Sadar Sabha, Dogra Hall, Jammu
The day will mark a special occasion to celebrate and remember Bhima Koregaon, Savitri Bai Phule and Fatima Sheikh, Sardar Udham Singh, Martyrs of 8 April Bharat Band, and Masod Choudhary.
Kalsotra said that all these personalities have added to the Bhajun struggle and we would want to pay homage to them. It is also pertinent to raise awareness among the masses about them and also formulate a strategy to further the social justice movement concerning SC/ST/OBC and minorities.
