SC,ST,OBC Confederation & NSYF held 100 rallies on Virtual mode for implementation of Toto Mandal Commission in UT-J&K

11-07-2021: All India Confederation of SC, ST, OBC, and NSYF(J&K)  held 100 rallies on Virtual mode for implementation of Mandal Commission  in  UT-Jammu Kashmir

Jammu 11.07.2021:All India Confederation of SCSTOBC and  National SC ST OBC Students and Youth Front J&K(NSYF) a wing of All India Confederation of SC/ST/OBC Organisations J&K held virtual rallies at 100 places all across the J&K UT organized by Dr. Sameer Choudhary President NSYF and headed by RK Kalsotra, State President Confederation, who was also the chief guest. The rallies were held to demand toto 27% reservation implementation of Mandal Commission in UT-J&K.

In this connection, rallies were organized at different places of the UT like  RS Pura, Chenani, Inderwal, Ramnagar, Khandwal, Kathua, Samba, Akhnoor, Billawar, Basholi, Bani, Doda, Bhaderwah, Kishtwar, Ramban, Srinagar, Budgam, Pulwama, Shopian, Kulgam, Baramulla, Kupwara and many other places.
RK Kalsotra, state President Confederation, flagged off the virtual rally from the state headquarters at Resham Ghar Colony. RK Kalsotra while appreciating the work of the participants said that we demand implementation of Mandal Commission in Jammu Kashmir as per the constitution of India. The OBC’s should get 27% reservation in Govt. Jobs as well as reservation in promotion. Kalsotra highlighted that confederation and youth movements have shown great potential in the past, be it in the freedom struggle or caste movement in the rallies. He said In UT-J&K a combination of Hindu Muslims comprising of Hanji, Shikara Wallas, Markabana, Potters(Kumahars), Shakaaz, Shoe repairers, Bhangies Khakrobes(Sweepers), Barbers, Washerman, Bhand , Mirasis, Madari/Bazigars, Kulfaqir, Dambali Faqir, Dooms, Shuori Wattal, Sansis, Sikiligars, Jheewers, Gharati, Teeli, Lohar’s, Tarkhan’s, Gilkar (Mason), Labhanas are the OBC castes have been shown as OSC instead of  OBC and deprived here by all successive Govt and even Prime Minister  Narinder Modi made an commitment before the election to implement Mandal Commission report in toto is still not fulfilled. Kalsotra appeals to the Prime Minister to fulfill his promise made to OBCs of J&K and pass it in the coming Parliament session.

The participants from SCSTOBC Community also sought intervention from the Central Government and Lieutenant Governor to implement Mandal Commission in Jammu and Kashmir.

Dr. Sameer, who flagged off the rally from Gandoh, Bhalessa,  Doda, while addressing the rally told that the Mandal commission is a very old demand of OBC and is ignored by the govt. since decades and told that if the govt does not redress the demand, we will come out on the roads to protest.

Muzaffar Bhalessi also expressed his views from Bhellesa on the occasion and told that Govt is not giving the rights of OBCs as per the Constitution of India and so forcing the unemployed youth to travel on the wrong paths, He asked the people of the SC ST OBC communities to come forward and stand for their rights with the Confederation.

The active members who lead the rallies at different places were  A N Bhagat, Shashi Syal, Muzaffer Bhalessi, Dina Nath, Bagh Hussain, Mohd Iqbal Badhana, Ashok Kumar, Mohan Lal, Atirf Kumar, Dr. Chetna Kumari, Talib Kasana, Rattan Lal, Mohammad Amir Bhadarwahi, Shabir Mastana Trali, Shabir Ahmed Koli, Salinder Singh, Kuljeet Singh,  Mushtaq  Ahmed Deedar Tilak Raj, Chuni Lal, and many others joined from various places across the UT and assured that they will fight for the demand and showed their aggression through the medium.

RK. Kalsotra thanked the participants for giving support at every step and assured them that they will fight for the cause till the govt implement the Mandel Commission in Jammu and Kashmir.
