Jammu: 06.10.2025: The Barwala Sadar Sabha held a meeting at the Sabha office in Gompul Domana, chaired by Sabha President Devi Ditta. R.K. Kalsotra, State President of the DOMA (Dalit, OBC, Minority, Tribal) Confederation, was invited as the chief guest. Retired Special Secretary Ramesh Uttam (Confederation General Secretary), Ramesh Sarmal, Vice President of the Confederation , Sabha Vice President Paras Ram, Senior Vice President Babu Ram, Vice President Balkar Dogra, Captain Ashok Radha, and youth members Ravi and Sanjay also attended the meeting.
Mr. Kalsotra extended full support to the Barwala community and urged unity against the recent atrocities against the Scheduled Caste community. He further stated that provisions for Dalits in the Constitution, drafted by Baba Saheb Ambedkar, are being curtailed. The rights secured for Dalits by Shaheed Bhagat Amar Nath Ji, who sacrificed his life, have been curtailed and stopped in Jammu and Kashmir. People are being intimidated in the name of religion, and their religious institutions are being attacked. Almost the entire country is feeling bad, leading to the near-abolition of reservations. Regarding all these issues, the Doma Confederation, under the leadership of Dr. Udit Raj, is organizing a massive rally at Ramlila Maidan, New Delhi, on November 30, 2025. While greeting his colleagues, Kalsotra said that the series of meetings in Jammu and Kashmir will be intensified, and he appealed to his colleagues to awaken the people to protect their rights.
Devi Ditta, President of the Barwala Sabha, assured that his Sabha stands with the Confederation in protecting the Constitution and rights and will fully support the movement to intensify it.
