Mumbai, Oct 19 : It was a moment fans never knew they needed: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and ‘Squid Game’ star Lee Jung-jae came together at the Joy Forum 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, creating an instant viral sensation. A cheerful selfie capturing the two icons’ warm smiles has now taken over social media.

Lee Jung-jae, the Emmy-winning actor famed for his role as Seong Gi-hun, shared the photo on Instagram, writing,

“Honored to be with a respected icon Mr. @iamsrk.”

The Joy Forum 2025 brought together global stars, including Aamir Khan, Lee Byung-hun, Shaquille O’Neal, and YouTube sensation MrBeast, celebrating cinema, entertainment, and digital creativity under one roof. For fans, the meeting symbolised a fusion of two cinematic worlds: the K-drama phenomenon and Bollywood legacy.

On stage at the same event, Shah Rukh Khan shared an emotional reflection on his career alongside his contemporaries Salman Khan and Aamir Khan.

“I look up to Salman Khan and Aamir Khan,” SRK said with a laugh. “Look at me—I’m still looking up to Salman! Their journey, the work they’ve done, and how they started from scratch is truly inspirational.”

With Shah Rukh Khan’s 60th birthday approaching on November 2, fans have another reason to celebrate. PVR INOX Limited announced a two-week film festival beginning October 31, featuring seven of SRK’s most loved films across 75 cinemas in over 30 cities.

The encounter between SRK and Lee Jung-jae has been hailed as a perfect blend of Bollywood and K-drama magic, delighting fans worldwide.
