Shark Tank India: Aman Gupta Admits Filming Episode While Hungover After Late-Night Party

boAt co-founder admits missing investment opportunities and reacting impulsively during tough filming days

Mumbai, Mar 21 : Entrepreneur and Shark Tank India judge Aman Gupta has candidly shared behind the scenes moments from the show, revealing that he once filmed an episode while severely sleep deprived after a late night party.

In a recent interview, Gupta admitted that his condition affected his focus during pitches, even causing him to miss out on investing in a startup that later performed well. The episode featured fellow sharks Namita Thapar, Peyush Bansal, and Vineeta Singh.

Recalling the incident, Gupta said he had been awake until 4 am and arrived on set the next day feeling extremely hungover. “I was thinking how to focus on the deal because I was so sleep deprived. Sometimes, your brain just stops functioning,” he shared.

He also spoke about moments when his candid reactions on the show sparked mixed responses. Gupta admitted that his unfiltered style, including occasional harsh remarks, has drawn criticism but reflects his genuine personality.

Highlighting the pressures of filming, he said such experiences are part of real life, where not every day goes as planned. His revelations offer a glimpse into the challenges faced by judges while making high-stakes investment decisions on the popular business reality show.
