Jammu, 2nd April 2026: A delegation of Shiv Mandir Charitable Trust led by Shri Anil Gupta, Senior Vice President, Chamber of Commerce and Industries Jammu, called on his excellency Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha today. Gupta elaborated on the working of Shiv Mandir Charitable Trust.
He said that trust is involved in charity work. This trust has 55 rooms, which are given to Yatris at a very low rate. The trust also provides a free breakfast to about 1000-1200 people in the morning. The trust also provides free school kits & uniforms to needy students in villages. Trust also provides free marriage assistance to needy girls. Trust has a 20 kanal land near AIIMS Hospital in Vijaypur. The ambition of the trust is to make a Sarai for the accommodation of attendants of patients with food.
Trust also invited his excellency to visit the Shiv temple at Shiv Market, Railway Station. LG sir has accepted the invitation & said that information regarding his visit should be given prior.
