Jammu,11-12-2023: Shiv Sena (UBT) J&K unit welcomed the decision of the Hon’ble High Court to uphold the Central Government’s decision to remove Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir and hope for early democratic process and restoration of statehood.
Along with Shivsena , will continue the struggle for privileges for the local people.
Today, in a press conference held at the party state office, Jammu, state chief Manish Sahni said that the Honorable Supreme Court with its decision on Article 370 has put a complete end to all the speculations. Which he welcomes and demands from the Center that elections should be held in Jammu and Kashmir immediately before the deadline set by the Honorable Court and the statehood should be returned immediately.
Along with this Sahni demands on the lines of border and north-eastern states, special privileges should be given to Jammu and Kashmir (which, being a border state, has been facing terrorism for the last 35 years) under Article 371.
