Social worker Rouble Nagi calls on LG

SRINAGAR, FEBRUARY 25: Educator and social worker Ms. Rouble Nagi called on Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha, today.

The Lieutenant Governor congratulated Ms Rouble Nagi on being conferred the prestigious GEMS Global Teacher Prize 2026.

Through the Rouble Nagi Art Foundation, Ms. Nagi has spearheaded a revolution in inclusive learning and established over 800 learning centres across the country.

The Lieutenant Governor hailed Ms. Nagi’s transformative impact on the Indian educational landscape, and securing future of thousands of underprivileged and out-of-school children.

“Ms. Rouble Nagi’s contribution to bringing education to the most marginalized is truly admirable. Her pioneering work serves as an inspiration for educators globally,” the Lieutenant Governor said.

During the interaction, Ms. Rouble Nagi also shared her mission to bridge the digital divide through new school digital centers and bringing AI education to students in the most remote villages.
