UDHAMPUR, MARCH, 06: In compliance with the direction of Jammu and Kashmir Legal Services Authority, a special Lok Adalat was organized today under the Chairmanship of Mohan Lal Manhas, Principal District & Sessions Judge Udhampur.
Six benches were constituted. Bench No.1 comprises Mohan Lal Manhas (Principal District & Sessions Judge Udhampur and Shoba Ram Gandhi, Additional District & Sessions Judge. Bench No.02 comprises B. A Munshi CJM and Girja Shavan Additional special Mobile Magistrate, Bench No.03 comprises Sandeep Kour, Secretary DLSA / Sub Judge Udhampur, and Preet Simran Kour, Sub Judge Special Mobile Magistrate. Bench No. 04 comprises Ajay Kumar, District Mobile Magistrate, and Kamiya Singh Munsiff JMIC; Bench No.05 comprises Amandeep Kour Munsiff Chenani and Advocate Balwan Singh; Bench No. 06 comprises Priyanka Mahajan Munsiff Majalta and Advocate Amit Sharma.
A total 145 cases pertaining to different nature were taken up out of which 135 cases were settled. An amount of Rs 346664 was recovered.
