JAMMU, June 8: The Jammu and Kashmir Police have announced the transfer of Sukhvir Singh, previously serving as Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) at the Sher-e-Kashmir Police Academy (SKPA) Udhampur, to his new position as DySP Police Component (PC) Basantgarh.
According to an official order issued by the J&K Police Headquarters in Jammu/Srinagar, this transfer follows the PHQ Order No. 1421 of 2024 dated June 7, 2024. The order specifies that Shri Sukhvir Singh, holding the service number ARP985561, will take up his new role as DySP PC Basantgarh in Udhampur.
To ensure a smooth transition and facilitate the officer’s payroll processing, one post of DySP from the overall reserve has been attached to district Udhampur with immediate effect. The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Udhampur will oversee the drawal of pay for the newly appointed DySP PC Basantgarh.
