Udhampur, October 26: Sunil Verma, District President of Jammu & Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) Udhampur, today met with Surinder Choudhary, the newly nominated Deputy Chief Minister, to extend his heartfelt congratulations on his recent appointment.
During the meeting, Sunil Verma conveyed the best wishes of Dr. Farooq Abdullah, President of JKNC and the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, acknowledging Surinder Choudhary’s dedication and leadership, which have been pivotal in his rise to this esteemed position.
Sunil Verma highlighted the various issues being faced by the residents of Udhampur district and emphasized the need for prompt redressal of their grievances. He appealed to Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary to schedule a visit to Udhampur at the earliest, to personally interact with the local populace and address their concerns. He stressed that such a visit would reaffirm the administration’s commitment to the welfare and development of the region, as envisioned by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and the JKNC leadership.
“People of Udhampur have been facing challenges related to infrastructure, healthcare, and employment, among others. I am confident that under the leadership of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and with the proactive approach of Surinder Choudhary Ji, these issues will be effectively addressed, and the district will witness significant progress,” said Sunil Verma.
Surinder Choudhary appreciated the gesture and assured that he would prioritize the concerns of Udhampur. He expressed his intent to work collaboratively with leaders like Sunil Verma to ensure the holistic development of the region, thereby fulfilling the aspirations of the people.
