New Delhi, June 11 : Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy reached the national capital on Thursday to attend the 11th Governing Council Meeting of NITI Aayog, which will be presided over by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre.
The high-level meeting is expected to see participation from chief ministers of multiple states, focusing on key policy priorities and Centre–state coordination on development issues.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who was already in Delhi for the NDA meeting earlier this week, is also set to take part in the deliberations. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay, currently on a three-day visit to the capital, has also arrived to attend the session.
Ahead of the meeting, Vijay held a series of engagements in Delhi, including courtesy meetings with President Droupadi Murmu and Vice President CP Radhakrishnan. He also met Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi and Congress Parliamentary Party chairperson Sonia Gandhi.
During his visit, he interacted with CPI leadership at Ajoy Bhawan, including General Secretary D Raja and senior leaders Rama Krushna Panda, Pallab Sengupta and K Narayana. CPI is among the coalition partners in the Tamil Nadu government led by Vijay.
According to an official statement from NITI Aayog, the meeting will focus on “Inclusive Human Development for Viksit Bharat @2047”, aiming to strengthen citizen welfare and boost entrepreneurship across the country.
The agenda includes promoting skill development, expanding productive employment, encouraging decentralised economic growth, and improving health, nutrition and overall well-being.
The framework is structured around four key pillars foundational human capital and future-ready skills, productive employment and entrepreneurship, health and nutrition outcomes, and ensuring equity and dignity for all citizens.
