TMA raises issues of Demolished Shops of Central Market Traders with Chamber President Mr.Arun Gupta

JAMMU, 08-03-2021: Representatives of Traders & Manufacturers Association (TMA), Central Market, Exhibition Ground, Jammu today met Arun Gupta, president, Chamber of Commerce and Industries (CCI) Jammu, and projected their demands in view of the upcoming projects in the areas.

All the office bearers of CCI Jammu were present on the occasion during which TMA representatives raised various issues concerning traders including the burning issue of 21 shops demolished in the Central Market, Exhibition Ground to raise the tower which is being constructed by the J&K SICOP.

CCI Jammu’s president assured the aggrieved shopkeepers that he will take up the issue for the rehabilitation of 21 shopkeepers in the upcoming near-to-completion tower of Women Entrepreneur Development Centre being constructed at the same site in the Central Market,  Exhibition Ground premises, Jammu.

Parmod Kapahi, president of Traders & Manufacturers Association also spoke at the occasion and assured all the affected shopkeepers that their issue of rehabilitation will be taken to their logical end.

Earlier, Kapahi along with other representatives of the Association honoured the new office bearers of Chamber of Commerce and Industries (CCI), Jammu.

The function concluded with a vote of thanks presented by Rakesh Jalali, general secretary of the Traders & Manufacturers Association (TMA), Central Market,  Jammu.
