Trent Rockets Claim Maiden Women’s Hundred Crown at Lord’s

Trent Rockets dismiss Sunrisers Leeds for 91 before completing a comfortable eight-wicket victory in the final.

LONDON, Aug 17: Trent Rockets won their first Women’s Hundred title after producing a dominant eight-wicket victory over defending champions Sunrisers Leeds in the final at Lord’s.

Sunrisers Leeds were bowled out for just 91, with Trent Rockets maintaining control throughout their innings. Georgia Adams was central to the Rockets’ outstanding performance, contributing with the ball and in the field.

The target proved far too modest for the Rockets. Beth Mooney and Sophia Dunkley provided a strong foundation during the chase, putting the side firmly on course for victory.

Trent Rockets reached 92 for two in only 54 balls, completing the run chase with 46 deliveries to spare.

The victory capped a highly successful campaign for the Rockets, who won eight of their nine matches during the season, including their final seven games.

Sunrisers Leeds, despite dominating much of the competition and entering the final as defending champions, could not reproduce their earlier form with the bat.

The comprehensive result secured Trent Rockets’ maiden women’s title and marked a memorable conclusion to their 2026 campaign.
