NEW DELHI, Aug 29: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results of the UGC-NET June 2026 examination for 84 subjects, giving thousands of candidates access to their scorecards and final answer keys.
The examination is conducted to determine eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment as assistant professors and admission to PhD programmes. Candidates who appeared for the examination can check their results through the official UGC-NET portal using their login credentials.
The agency, however, has withheld the results for three subjects English, Commerce and Sociology as the examinations for these papers are being conducted again.
The re-examination for the three subjects has been scheduled for September 9 and 10. Candidates appearing for these papers will receive their results separately after the fresh examinations are completed.
The NTA has also made the final answer key available for the subjects for which results have been declared. Candidates are advised to retain their scorecards and other examination records for future academic or recruitment requirements.
The release of the results marks a major step in completing the June session of the national eligibility examination, while the scheduled re-test will allow the agency to conclude the assessment process for the remaining three subjects.
