Ahmedabad, Apr 4: Unusual rainfall across parts of Gujarat has delayed the onset of summer, bringing a sharp drop in temperatures and disrupting daily life.
Regions including Saurashtra and Kutch witnessed heavy showers, strong winds, and waterlogging in low-lying areas. Temperatures in cities like Rajkot dropped significantly below normal levels for April.
Meteorological officials attributed the sudden weather shift to an upper air cyclonic circulation and an active western disturbance, with more fluctuations expected in the coming days.
