New Delhi, Sep 22: Vice President C P Radhakrishnan on Monday lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his ability to “make the impossible possible,” citing his remarkable relations with world leaders including US President Donald Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Speaking at an event marking the release of two volumes of the Prime Minister’s speeches, Radhakrishnan noted that despite the US imposing a 50% tariff on India, Trump has consistently referred to Modi as a “great friend.” Similarly, President Xi maintains cordial relations with Modi despite differences in international politics, while President Putin also shares a close bond with the Indian leader.
“That is why he makes the impossible possible,” Radhakrishnan said, emphasizing that Modi undertakes initiatives for the welfare of the masses with sincerity, expecting nothing in return.
Rajya Sabha Deputy Chair Harivansh added that Modi communicates effectively with the people, reflecting their concerns in his governance. Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw remarked that Modi has transformed the implementation of government schemes, ensuring wider outreach and tangible impact, turning politics into a tool for public service.
Radhakrishnan’s remarks highlight Modi’s blend of global diplomacy and domestic governance, portraying him as a leader capable of navigating complex international relations while prioritizing the needs of Indian citizens.
