Mumbai Central Division’s “Amrit Samvaad” Engages Passengers to Enhance Railway Services and Safety

Mumbai, Oct 18 : In a move aligned with the national vision of Amrit Kaal and inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Panch Pran principles, Western Railway’s Mumbai Central Division organized the interactive “Amrit Samvaad” on 16th October 2025 at the Concourse Area of Mumbai Central Station. Conducted under Special Campaign 5.0, the initiative aimed to foster direct communication between railway authorities and passengers, enabling collaborative efforts for improved services and modernized travel experiences.

The event was led by Shri Pankaj Singh, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Mumbai Central Division, along with senior railway officials, who engaged passengers in an open Question & Answer session. Commuters actively participated, raising queries and suggestions related to station amenities, public safety, CCTV cameras in coaches, and the potential introduction of premium sleeper long-distance express trains.

Addressing the concerns, DRM Pankaj Singh assured passengers of ongoing efforts to enhance amenities, strengthen safety systems, and implement technology-driven improvements across the railway network. He also encouraged citizens to contribute to nation-building by maintaining cleanliness, practicing responsible travel habits, and supporting railway initiatives.

The “Amrit Samvaad” initiative seeks to create a collaborative platform where passenger feedback translates into actionable improvements, steering India towards the goal of Viksit Bharat @ 2047, in line with the vision of Amrit Kaal and the principles of Panch Pran.
