White House Says Trump in ‘Excellent Overall Health’ as MRI Results Released

October MRI shows normal cardiovascular and abdominal imaging amid scrutiny of President’s health

US, Dec 02 : The White House has released the results of US President Donald Trump’s October MRI scan, putting to rest weeks of speculation about his health after political opponents questioned his mental sharpness and physical condition.

According to Politico, pressure had mounted on the President to disclose his test results after Democrats including Minnesota Governor Tim Walz  raised concerns about his cognitive clarity. Earlier this summer, Trump had also drawn attention over noticeable swelling in his ankles and bruising on the back of his right hand.

White House: MRI Conducted as Preventive Measure

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt on Monday read a summary prepared by the President’s physician, stating that the MRI was conducted as a “preventative” assessment. She said the examination confirmed that Trump “remains in excellent overall health.”

Leavitt detailed that the President’s cardiovascular imaging was perfectly normal, showing:

No arterial narrowing

No abnormalities in the heart or major vessels

Normal heart chamber size

Smooth, healthy vessel walls

No signs of inflammation or clotting

She added that Trump’s abdominal imaging was also normal, with all major organs “very healthy and well-perfused,” and no acute or chronic concerns detected.

MRI Followed Questions Over Trump’s Health

Trump underwent imaging of his cardiovascular and abdominal systems in October. The White House released the results after the President appeared unable to clarify to reporters aboard Air Force One which part of his body had been scanned.

“It was just an MRI,” Trump told reporters. Asked whether it involved his brain, he replied, “It wasn’t the brain, because I took a cognitive test and I aced it.”
