Member States are being encouraged to scale up surveillance, infection prevention, and control measures as part of a coordinated global approach. Health experts say bolstering readiness and sharing best practices are pivotal to combating the growing threat of drug‑resistant pathogens that can undermine treatment outcomes across health systems worldwide.
