Thanamandi, Nov 18 : Three people, including a married couple, were injured in a wild boar attack near a forest area in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district, officials said on Tuesday.
The incident took place on Monday night in the Khabla area of Thanamandi tehsil when the victims Mohammad Mazhar (30), Afsana Kouser (25), and another individual were suddenly attacked by wild boars.
All three sustained multiple injuries to their head, arms, and legs. They were immediately taken to the hospital, where they are currently undergoing treatment, doctors confirmed.
Authorities have advised residents living near forested areas to stay alert, especially during evening hours when wild animals tend to move closer to human settlements.
