New Delhi, Apr 7: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday extended his wishes for the well being of citizens, encouraging people to actively adopt healthy lifestyles and prioritise personal fitness.
Marking World Health Day, the Prime Minister also acknowledged the relentless efforts of healthcare workers and individuals committed to improving public health and serving communities across the country.
In a message shared on social media platform X, he appealed to citizens to take proactive steps toward maintaining good health, highlighting the importance of awareness and prevention.
Reiterating the government’s vision, he stressed the need for continued collaboration to strengthen healthcare infrastructure and ensure accessible, quality care for all.
World Health Day is observed every year on April 7 to commemorate the establishment of the World Health Organization in 1948, with a focus on raising awareness about key global health issues.
