Yogi Adityanath Calls UP Budget 2026–27 a Landmark for Long-Term Growth

Chief Minister calls the financial plan a reflection of a decade of progress, emphasising inclusive development, welfare, and the state’s USD 1 trillion economy goal.

UP, Feb 11 : Ahead of the presentation of the Uttar Pradesh Budget 2026–27, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath underscored what he termed a decade of sweeping transformation in the state under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.

In a post on X, the Chief Minister described the forthcoming financial plan as a milestone document that mirrors the government’s continued dedication to fulfilling the ambitions of nearly 25 crore residents. He said the past ten years have brought significant growth and prosperity, positioning Uttar Pradesh as a key driver in the vision of a “New India.”

Adityanath noted that the budget, set to be tabled in the state legislature for the tenth consecutive year by his administration, would prioritise all-round development while reinforcing public trust in governance.

Sharing another message, the Chief Minister asserted that Uttar Pradesh is steadily advancing toward becoming a resilient, economically strong, and self-sufficient state. Policies focused on transparent governance, social inclusion, and welfare initiatives, he said, have laid the groundwork for sustained progress.

He added that the e-budget would present a defined roadmap featuring strategic policies, renewed momentum, and actionable measures aligned with the objective of building a “Self-reliant and Developed Uttar Pradesh.”

According to Adityanath, the financial blueprint is also expected to accelerate the state’s journey toward a USD 1 trillion economy. He highlighted that the plan places the welfare of the poor, opportunities for youth, empowerment of women, and farmers’ prosperity at its core, while contributing to the broader national vision of Developed India by 2047.

The budget session of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly commenced on February 9 with the Governor’s address and will continue until February 20.
