MSME Department and AOI Gangyal Organize Awareness Programme to Boost Industrial Growth
Jammu, 03-03-2025: In a significant initiative aimed at empowering industries and fostering economic growth, the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India, in collaboration with the Association of Industries (AOI), Gangyal, organized an Awareness Programme at AOI Bhawan, Gangyal, Jammu. The event focused on educating both existing and aspiring entrepreneurs about the various government schemes and incentives available in the MSME sector.
The programme sought to promote entrepreneurship, employment generation, and industrial expansion by equipping businesses with crucial information on financial assistance, technological support, and policy benefits offered by the MSME Department. The session was addressed by Joint Director Shri G. Velladurai and Assistant Director Shri D.K. Tyagi, who elaborated on key initiatives such as credit-linked subsidies, skill development programs, and market access opportunities designed to boost small and medium enterprises.
President of AOI Gangyal, Sh. Virendra Jain expressed gratitude to the MSME Department for organizing the event and assured full cooperation in ensuring that the department’s schemes and policies reach a wider entrepreneurial base. He emphasized that such initiatives play a vital role in bridging the gap between policymakers and industries, enabling businesses to leverage government support effectively.
The event witnessed active participation from industry representatives, business owners, and association members, who engaged in an interactive session to clarify their doubts regarding MSME schemes, registration processes, and financial assistance. The session provided valuable insights into the evolving industrial landscape and the role of MSMEs in driving regional economic growth.
Prominent figures from the Association of Industries (AOI) Gangyal who attended the programme included Sh. Sandeep Ohri (Vice President), Sh. Sanjay Langar (General Secretary), Sh. Ajay Kumar Mahajan (Secretary), and Sh. Jatinder Singh (Treasurer), along with a large number of senior association members and industry stakeholders.
Such awareness programs are expected to enhance business confidence, encourage investment, and create a conducive environment for industrial development in Jammu and Kashmir, thereby contributing to the larger vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India).
