Mumbai, Dec 02 : Following its box-office success this Diwali, Thamma is set to make its digital debut, offering fans a chance to relive its quirky blend of comedy, romance, horror, and mystery. The film, part of the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU), has already captured attention with its fresh vampire twist and emotional love story.
The OTT release will follow a two-step plan:

The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana as Alok Goyal, a curious journalist drawn into a supernatural mystery, alongside Rashmika Mandanna in a pivotal supernatural role. Veteran actors Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Paresh Rawal also feature prominently. Thamma is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, with a screenplay by Niren Bhatt, Arun Fulara, and Suresh Mathew.
The story follows Alok Goyal as he investigates a mysterious entity known as ‘Betaal Tadaka’. What begins as a routine investigation gradually leads him into a world of forbidden love, ancient legends, and supernatural dangers. As he confronts the terrifying Yakshasan, Alok must navigate love, courage, and peril in ways he never imagined.
