17-02-2023 : Officials reported that a 3.6 magnitude earthquake hit the Katra area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district on Friday. The National Centre for Seismology confirmed that the quake occurred at 5:01 am, with a depth of 10 km. Fortunately, there were no reports of casualties or property damage from the quake.
The epicentre was located 97 kilometers east of Katra, with a latitude of 33.10 degrees and a longitude of 75.97 degrees.
