The re-release, which opened for advance bookings on October 25, has witnessed an overwhelming response from audiences across India.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film saw houseful shows within minutes of bookings going live, with ticket sales reportedly crossing 5,000 per hour. Within a day, domestic advance bookings touched nearly Rs 2 crore, signalling a nostalgic yet powerful resurgence of India’s most celebrated cinematic saga.
Overseas records tumble
The frenzy isn’t limited to India. In North America, Baahubali: The Epic has already surpassed USD 200,000 (approx. Rs 1.6 crore) in advance sales a feat that surpasses many first-run releases. Global pre sales have already crossed the Rs 5 crore mark, reaffirming the film’s international appeal and timeless legacy.
