Jammu 17.03.2025: Today a meeting of SC, ST & OBC samaj including All India Confederation J&K unit, OBC Maha Sabha – J&K, Backward Classes Federation, J&K, All J&K Barwala Maha Sabha, Lok Adhikaar Mission J&K, Bhim Kranti Sena J&K, with many sister organizations of Bahujan Samaj and other social & religious organizations was organized by Sh Romesh Chander Uttma in which various speakers lauded the role of all Bahujan Samaj (SC, ST, OBC) organizations, their leaders and other intectuals participated. Meeting started with paying tributes to Smt. Shanti Devi widow of Martyr Bhagat Amar Nath who passed away yesterday.
Shri R.K Kalsotra re-iterated that entire Bahujan Samaj will fight tooth and nail the ill designs of NC MLA- Mr. Bashir Ahmed Veeri who has dared to enter a private Bill in the J&K Assembly seeking curtailment of reservation to SCs from present 8% to 4 %, to STs -1 from 10% to 7% to OBCs from 8% to 5% (instead of granting them 27%). R.K Kalsotra in the beginning gave details about today’s meeting agenda and he told that Bahujan Samaj is strong enough to fight ill designs of people like MLA Bashir Amed Veeri, Mr. Sajjad Gani Lone for supporting such unconstitutional move and appealed to turn up in huge gathering on 24th March at 10 AM at Press Club, Jammu to Gherao Assembly. He also highlighted several other issues of bahijan Samaj.
All India OBC Maha Sabha Convenor Sh. Bansi lal Choudhary also supporting the program pledge to cause a huhe gathering of people on 24th March. Similarly All J&K Barwala Maha Sabha president Devi Ditra, Ajay Thappa of Bhim Kranti Sena, Dr.A.C.Bhagat chairperson Lok Adhikaar Mission J&K Banarsi Dass Vice Preaident GRDS Kabir Colony, supported and endorsed the Assembly Gherao program. Others who participated include Jagdish Raj Panday vice prez OBC, Amit Mehra secretary OBC, Kuldeep Raj Chalotra social activist, Ramesh Chander finance secretary Confederation, Darshan Mehra OBC, Jagdish Raj OBC leader, Joginder Digra, Baba Ram. Meeting had started with welcome address of Romesh Chander Uttma. Vote of thanks was addressed by Mohan Lal Pawar
