NEW DELHI, Sept 12: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the NEET UG 2026 Round 2 seat allotment results, giving medical aspirants an opportunity to secure admission to undergraduate courses across participating institutions.
The second round covered seats under the 15 per cent All India Quota, along with seats in deemed universities, central universities, Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), AIIMS and JIPMER institutions.
The counselling process began with registration and fee payment on September 3, while candidates were allowed to submit their choices until September 9. The seat allocation process was conducted on September 9 and 10, with the results announced on September 11.
Candidates who have been allotted seats are required to report to their respective institutions between September 12 and 18 to complete the admission process. The MCC has also released updated vacancy information covering MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing programmes.
The undergraduate medical academic session is scheduled to commence on September 15. Candidates are advised to carefully follow the reporting schedule and complete all admission formalities within the stipulated period.
