BJP pays tributes to martyr Tika Lal Taploo

13-09-2022 :  BJP Displaced District observed Martyrs day (balidan divas) on 13th September 2022 , and paid rich tributes to Amar Shaheed  Tika Lal Taploo  on his 33rd death anniversary  at Jammu Club .

J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina, General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul, Seh-Prahbari BJP J&K Ashish Sood, Ex MLC and Prahbari KDD G.L. Raina, District president KDD Chand Ji Bhat and other prominent political and social personalities were present on the occasion.

The programme started with the Lighting of Lamp and reciting of patriotic song by women activists of Displaced district.  Homage was paid to the Tika Lal Taploo and also to those who were killed during these 33 years in various parts of state including including the Wandhama, Chitising pora , Doda, Kishtwar, and Rajori.Tributes were paid to security forces, police personnel who made great sacrifices while fighting with the Pakistan sponsored terrorist and got martyrdom . Two minutes silence was observed as a mark of respect for the departed souls.

A documentary film on Tika Lal Taploo was also shown on the occasion.

H.k.Razdan district General Secretary conducted the proceedings of the programme.

Ravinder Raina, while paying tributes to the Tika Lal Taploo, he said that  he was a prominent figure of BJP in Kashmir  and his aim was to strengthen the nationalist forces  and defeat the design of anti national forces. He was a popular leader among the other  communities also , because he was always available for their help , irrespective of the cast or religion.

Ashok Koul General, while paying tributes to Tika Lal Taploo ji said that he was a great leader of BJP and a social activist. He served as vice president of BJP and he never compromise on his principles. He further said that Tika Lals influence , Political  alliance and popularity  was unmatched among the kashmiri Hindus and other communities too, and was a fearless leader and was actively associated  with social work  and fighting  the rights for the poor people. He was popularly known among Muslim community, became a major challenge for the terrorists.

Ashish Sood, while paying tributes to Tika Lal  Taploo, termed him a tallest leader of Kashmir, who was known to all the communities  and earned respect and love from all sects of the society. His sacrifices for the nation will always be remembered.

Girdhari Lal Raina, while paying tributes to Tika Lal Taploo, termed him as a leader of masses, having good leadership qualities and commanded respect in all the sects of the society.

Chand Jee Bhat, while paying rich tributes to the beloved leader Taploo Jee  and thrown light on his life .He said that Tika Lal  Ji was a advocate by profession and Joined Kashmir bar  association and continued to fight for Justice . He was a long time member of RSS.

He further said that  Tika Lal Taploo was the first Kashmiri pandit who was killed by terrorists in a broad day light near his house on 13th September 1989. The whole Kashmir was plunged in grief and darkness. The reason behind his killing was to create fear among Hindu minorities in Kashmir, Which later led to the genocide of Kashmiri Hindus he added.

Then the families of late Rahul Bhat PM Package employee who was killed by the terrorists on 12th May 2022, and late Rohit Kumar Chib attained martyrdom while  fighting with terrorists on 12th January 2022, were honoured. A citation and a shawl was given to each of the each of the family.

The other participants who were present  on the occasion were Shuban Pandit, H.K.Razdan, Anil Dhar, Hira Lal Bhat, Sweety koul, vinal Raina ,   Rakesh Sadhu, M. L. Bhat, Chaman Lal pandita, Rajeev Pandita,  vineet Raina ,Dolly Raina, Meenakshi wali, Anjali Raina, Shama Ji, Kiran Raina, Rajkumari,Sujata koul, Kheem Lata , Mamta ji,Vijay kumari, Anjali Suri, Rahul Bhat, Bushan Lal Raina, Roop Krishn koul.

Booth president and their Karayakartas were present.

Heads of some religious organizations were also present. Prominent citizens from the displaced Community were also present.
