Jammu, Jan. 21 :- A delegation of senior congress leaders met the Chief Minister Shri Oma Abdullah at his residence here, today and discussed broader issues of public concern

Led by Working President JKPCC Shri Raman Bhalla, the delegation comprised of Chief Spokesperson Mr. Ravinder Sharma Ex-MLC,  Shri Yogesh Sawhney former Minister and DCC President Jammu Urban, Former MLCs Shri Ved Mahajan (I/C HQ) and Th. Balbir Sngh.

The delegation highlighted various issues of common concern and problems faced by different sections of the society , including the relief & rehabilitation of the flood victims, the restoration of damaged infrastructure, the issues of employees and pensioners regarding salary, wages and GP Fund and the long pending issues of daily wagers, need based, contractual and other temporary category employees.

The various developmental issues including power and water supply matters and the  rationalization of Municipal Wards etc. were also discussed besides other issues of urgent attention came under discussion. The Chief Minister assured to look into various issues of genuine concern on priority.
