Srinagar, 14 Oct: The four party candidates for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections including Choudhary Mohammad Ramzan, Sajjad Kichloo, Shammi Oberoi, and Imran Nabi Dar today called on Party President Dr. Farooq Abdullah at his residence in Srinagar.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Omar Abdullah was also present during the meeting.
During the interaction, Dr. Farooq Abdullah expressed confidence in the party’s strong prospects in the upcoming elections and conveyed his best wishes to all the nominated candidates.
He reiterated the party’s unwavering commitment to its vision and mission, and urged all party functionaries to work with dedication and unity towards achieving the party’s goals.
“The strength of our party lies in our people, our principles, and our consistent struggle for the rights and dignity of the people of Jammu and Kashmir,” Dr Abdullah said. “We must continue to uphold these values with sincerity and perseverance.”
Also present on the occasion were Provincial President Showkat Mir, Hon’ble MLAs Ahsan Pardesi, Sajjad Shaheen, and Mushtaq Guroo, along with Political Advisor to the Vice President, Mudassir Shahmiri.
The meeting concluded with a collective resolve to intensify outreach at the grassroots level and to work tirelessly for the success of the party in the forthcoming Rajya Sabha elections.
